Meet Our Team – Colin Russell

Colin Russell BA(Hons) MIEx

Colin is an independent international business advice and change management specialist. Since founding Russell Business Services in 2006, he has helped businesses across the UK and overseas to develop successful strategies for international growth. He works across a range of industry sectors but has particular expertise in working with the services sectors.

Clients include Department for International Trade (formerly UK Trade & Investment), the global law firms network Interlegal, Enterprise Growth Solutions Ltd, Resolve Gets Results Ltd, The Training Gateway and Wellcom London.

He is co-author of several practical guides published by the Department for International Trade to assist companies in exporting including guides to selling services overseas and international licensing and he has also developed a number of training courses and workshops for companies looking to win business overseas.

With over 20 years of experience in a range of planning, marketing, operational and change roles in organisations including Citibank, Bradford & Bingley, Palitoy Parker Toys and ITT, Colin has worked on many key international assignments.

Colin is a Member of the Institute of Export, a graduate of the University of Salford and is a French and German speaker.
